Terms of Service

These terms govern use of LowArchive by members and guest customers. See the Sales and Software Policy for detailed order, refund, and licence conditions.

1. Scope

These terms apply to LowArchive accounts, orders, digital delivery, licences, reviews, inquiries, and support. Product-specific price, delivery, licence, and withdrawal terms displayed before payment also form part of the contract. Mandatory consumer law and any individually agreed term prevail where applicable.

Definitions and users

Service means the LowArchive site and its purchase, account, download, and support functions; Member means a user with verified email; Guest means a user transacting through order-scoped verification; Product includes physical, digital, and mixed goods; and Licence means the expressly stated right to use software. Guests retain the same statutory order, withdrawal, refund, and privacy protections.

Registration and minors

Registration forms after email verification, required acceptance, and service approval. False information, impersonation, repeated abuse, or a security risk may justify rejection or a proportionate restriction with a reason. A minor obtains legal-representative consent where law requires it, and a contract made without required consent may be cancelled under applicable law. Registration is not currently available to children under 14.

2. Account security

Use an email address you control and provide accurate information. A new password must contain at least 12 characters, including uppercase and lowercase letters and a special character. Do not share credentials or bypass security controls. Change your password and contact support promptly if compromise is suspected.

3. Orders and contract formation

Review the product, total price, delivery or digital-supply conditions, and withdrawal terms before ordering. An order-received screen or email confirms receipt only. The contract forms when acceptance reaches you after stock, price, payment authorization, and legal-sale checks. If an order cannot be accepted, the reason and refund process will be explained.

4. Payment

Only the amount authorized by the payment provider is charged. LowArchive does not store raw card numbers or security codes. Taxes, currency conversion, payment fees, and customs charges follow the checkout and product notice. NICEPAY and PayPal on the current staging site are sandboxes and do not create a live charge.

5. Changes and interruptions

Features may change or pause for security, legal requirements, provider outages, or maintenance. Material planned changes are announced where practical; urgent security measures may be announced after action. Existing orders and valid licence rights are not reduced retroactively without a lawful, justified reason.

6. Prohibited conduct

Do not use another person's account or payment method, place fraudulent orders, distribute malware, send abusive automated traffic, bypass licence controls, redistribute software without permission, or infringe privacy or intellectual-property rights. Proportionate restrictions may be applied, with reasons and an appeal path unless an urgent security risk requires immediate action.

7. Intellectual property

Rights in the site, writing, images, software, and related material remain with LowArchive or their lawful owners. A purchase grants only the ownership or licence expressly stated for that product. Rights in material submitted with a review or inquiry remain with the submitter, while LowArchive may use it only as needed to process or publish that submission.

8. Verified reviews

One review may be created, edited, or deleted for each verified paid order item or valid licence. Any free product, discount, prize, or other benefit must be disclosed. Only objective violations such as exposed personal data, spam, harassment, or illegal content justify hiding a review; low ratings or criticism alone do not. Moderation keeps reasons and appeal records.

9. Closure and records

Closing an account deletes or anonymizes authentication data, the general profile, addresses, and marketing consent. Korean e-commerce records are separated and retained for five years for contracts, withdrawals, payment, and supply; three years for complaints and disputes; and six months for advertising records. A valid perpetual licence is retained as a stable ownership principal separated from direct account identifiers, remains privacy-protected, and may be recovered after identity verification.

10. Liability and disputes

These terms do not exclude liability for intent or gross negligence, statutory warranties, or mandatory consumer rights. You may first use Contact or Support and may then use a competent consumer dispute-resolution body. Korean law applies without imposing an unfair exclusive venue; jurisdiction follows applicable procedural law.

11. Changes to these terms

A change and its reason are normally posted at least seven days before effect. A material adverse change is announced at least 30 days in advance on the site and through an individual channel such as registered email, with fresh consent where law requires it. Silence is not treated as consent. Existing transactions keep the terms in force when formed, subject to mandatory law.

Language and priority

For a transaction directed to a Korean consumer, the Korean text governs if its English convenience translation differs, while a more favorable individual agreement and mandatory law in the applicable jurisdiction take priority. Translation never reduces statutory rights.
